  • DO get maximum engagement with the camera

    • Your four-legged friend should be in the foreground
    • Just one cat or dog per photo, please
    • Your pet should look directly into the camera (with the photo ideally taken at eye level)
    • Have them sitting calm & still

    • The background used should be a different colour from your pet

Which animals are suitable subjects for the pet portraits?
Our pet portraits were designed with cats and dogs in mind, so the generator currently only works with cat and dog photos.
Will I see a preview of my pet portrait?
Yes, once you’ve uploaded your photo you’ll see a preview with the art filter applied. We’ll even show you mock-ups of how your pet portrait will look printed on our range of wall decor products.
What sizes are the pet portraits available in?
The portraits are currently available in a choice of 40 x 30cm or 80 x 60cm sizes.
Can I make any changes to the pet portrait preview?
After generating your portrait, you can change the background colour, as well as the text content and font. If you want to try a different art filter or different photo, you’ll need to generate again.
